The Rufus Songbook (8:00 PM)
A vibrant assortment of emerging and established musicians, including Krystle Warren, Teddy Thompson, Royal Wood, Alejandra Ribera, Sarah Slean, and Andrew Rodriguez interpret the words and music of Rufus Wainwright, whom Elton John lovingly referred to as “the greatest songwriter on the planet.”

Rufus Wainwright (9:20 PM)
Rufus takes centre stage, together with an eight-piece band, for the Canadian premiere of all 12 tracks from his hotly-anticipated new release, Out of the Game. Producer Mark Ronson considers Out of the Game an even greater achievement than the landmark Back to Black he crafted for Amy Winehouse. It is also, says Rufus, his most popcentric work to date. Rufus and his bandmates will also perform highlights from his genre-blurring career, whose influences extend from Schubert and Shakespeare to Cole Porter and Judy Garland.
