Catch this: Girls Rock Camp Fundraiser @ Silver Dollar, Tuesday May 29

Girls Rock Camp opened up a Toronto chapter last year and aims to make 2012 bigger and better. The community program teaches young girls between the ages of 8-16 how to play instruments, write songs and, of course, rock out.

To help raise money for Girls Rock Camp Toronto, the Silver Dollar will host a fundraising event featuring some of the city’s finest bands – Hot Kid, Planet Creature, Das Rad, Jasmyn Burke (of Rattail), Terror Lake and The Beverleys. Show starts at 9pm and will only cost you a small donation of $5.
